The three-point shooting of College Park (12-7, 4-1) goes up against the 2-3 zone of Berean Christian (13-6, 4-1) tonight in Pleasant Hill in a game you can watch on at 7pm. Both the Falcons and Eagles are trying to shake off their first DVAL defeat. Berean Christian was humbled at Concord, 70-44, as the Eagles were outscored 27-10 in the third quarter. College Park lost a close one at Northgate, 56-54, as the Falcons failed to recover from a first quarter in which they were outscored 21-8. College Park, who had won four in a row, is paced by Mikey Eggleton’s 15.4 points per game. Eggleton and Michael Daily (9.7 ppg) have combined for 83 made three-pointers this season. In fact, the Falcons team is averaging 8.9 made three-pointers per game. Berean Christian’s six game win streak was snapped in the loss to Concord, but the Eagles are hoping for a bounce-back game from Tyler Charrette, who managed just six points in the loss. It was just the fourth time this season Charette was held to single-figures. Charette is averaging 19.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.9 steals, and 1.5 blocks this year. A.J. Newell has been the more steady scorer this year, as he tallied 15 against Concord, and has been held to single-figures once all year.
