Mike Montgomery, Tom Hawkins, and Roger Frantz report live from Shelbyville, KY.
One of the oldest and most hotly contested rivalries in Northcentral Kentucky is the Oldham County - Shelby County football rivalry. Oldham County last won in Shelbyville, 14-9, in 2008, and Shelby returned the favor in Buckner last year, winning 28-13.
Shelby County will be wrapping up its first season since the school divided; Martha Layne Collins High School opened this fall, and for the first time since 1975, there are now two schools in Shelby County. Shelby County continues to participate in the largest classification in Kentucky - Class 6A - but will likely move down to 4A next season.
